Sandi began her leadership journey in the Midwest as a first-year teacher and as the leadership advisor.  While she had never been a “leadership kid,” it sparked her passion for finding a place for each student to thrive.  After moving to California, she joined the CASL Advisory Board.  She loves podcasts, sunshine, and serving as President of the National Association of State Student Council Executive Directors, hoping to collaborate with others to elevate student leadership across the US.
