Ruth Simonds has been a dedicated CADA member for 14 years, stepping up as a presenter and CADA Camp staff member. A Social Studies teacher for 28 years, she proudly teaches at her alma mater, Quartz Hill High School, where she took over her father’s position. A 2019 District Teacher of the Year, she also advises the Senior Class and #ICanHelp club. Ruth and her husband, Steve—a retired teacher and coach—love traveling and watching football.
