At Ignite2Unite, we help schools be the best version of themselves through partnerships and programs that support thriving school cultures.
Does your campus need to increase connectedness and grow empathy and understanding?
Our signature program, Breaking Down the Walls, was created by Phil Boyte in 1992 as he worked with Esperanza High School to create a program that would unite the student body after a tragedy. That program became Breaking Down the Walls and has since impacted over 1,000,000 students across North America by helping schools create genuine connections and increase empathy and understanding. Breaking Down the Walls serves both middle and high schools by helping students realize “it’s hard to hate someone whose story you know.”
Need a springboard to create student-leader ownership and spirit?
Our 4A workshop equips and empowers your 4A (art, athletic, academic, and activity) student-leaders to actively lead your student culture. The 4A leaders connect, rate their campus climate, discuss the “goods” and “growth areas” of student culture and leave with a shared school culture vision and steps to impact campus culture for years to come. The best part? The workshop ends with a jolt of school spirit as your students learn chants and student section tools that will make your biggest rival run! Beware, this workshop makes school spirit contagious!
