2024 MAA Graduation
What a fantastic afternoon! Today the Master Activity Advisor (MAA) course took center stage at the 2025 CADA Conference in sunny San Diego. While attendees had plenty of exciting session options to choose from, those who joined MAA had the opportunity to dive deep into the world of school activities, leadership, and community-building.
An Afternoon of Insight and Action
The MAA sessions focused on providing Activity Directors with tools, strategies, and innovative ideas to improve the effectiveness of school events. Today’s classes focused on everything from the latest trends in event planning to methods for enhancing school spirit, student engagement, and inclusivity. Through practical, hands-on activities, participants brainstormed new event ideas, examined creative approaches to organizing school events, and refined their leadership skills.
The afternoon wasn’t just about learning from the experts—it was also about learning from each other. Participants shared their challenges, swapped stories, and walked away with a wealth of ideas and inspiration to take back to their schools.
Collaborating and Connecting
One of the most exciting parts of MAA is always the opportunity to collaborate with fellow Activity Directors. The rooms were filled with energy as everyone engaged in small group discussions and team activities. Whether it was bouncing ideas off one another during the classes or simply enjoying a conversation during a break, the connections made today were invaluable. There’s nothing quite like spending a few hours with people who are just as passionate about student engagement and school events as you are.
It’s these connections—along with the ideas and strategies—that make the CADA Conference so special. After today, everyone left not just with new tools, but with a new network of fellow advisors who are ready to support each other long after the conference ends.
A Huge Thank You to All Who Attended
We want to give a big shout-out to everyone who joined the MAA sessions today. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication to improving school activities are what made this session so memorable. We hope you left the MAA courses feeling empowered, excited, and ready to take your school events to the next level.
Remember, the CADA Conference is packed with opportunities to learn, grow, and connect—MAA is just one of many amazing sessions offered. Whether you attended MAA or explored another session, we hope you’re walking away with fresh ideas and a renewed sense of purpose.
Until next time, keep those creative ideas flowing, and let’s continue to make school activities the heart of every school community!
